What you'll learn

Gain the knowledge and practical skills required to complete certification examinations, administered by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) to become a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT).
Practice alternative health strategies.
Study an evidence-based curriculum that supports an inter-professional health care approach that maximizes patient outcomes.
Examine the anatomy, physiology and common pathologies of the human body.
Develop critical thinking skills to prepare and implement treatment plans.
Acquire the ethical and professional behaviours associated with becoming a Regulated Health Care Professional.

Program Length

Massage Therapy is a Fast Track program that is completed in 24 months, including the required clinical hours, in this regulated community college offering. This program is only available for Fast Track option.

Conduct practicums in on-site student clinic and offsite outreach.
Through a mix of on-campus labs and simulations.
