O que eu aprenderei?

Uncovering the ancient past can be a fulfilling pathway to your future. Study archaeology in one of the most diverse programs in Canada. Your studies will focus on the material history of human culture, studying artifacts, architecture, and ancient environments, and build confidence in presenting your findings. You’ll learn the field methods and lab techniques used to examine physical evidence, as well as theories archaeologists use to understand the ancient cultures and past civilizations of the Americas, Asia, Europe, and the pre- Classical and Classical Mediterranean world.

Resume Boosters:

  • Perform hands-on research (even during your undergrad degree!) in specialized on-campus labs for bioarchaeology, remote sensing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), archaeozoology, and lithic and ceramic analysis
  • Immerse yourself in the global community and engage with professors conducting ongoing research in the Arctic, Asia, Canada, Central and South America, Europe, the Mediterranean and North Africa
  • Spend a summer unearthing the past as you excavate and seek to understand the remains of ancient civilizations through our summer field study experiences in Ontario, Belize, and Greece
