East Asian Studies examines the culture, language and history of East Asian civilizations. This interdisciplinary program offers a comprehensive understanding of the rich culture and emerging global power of China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam and Taiwan. During the course of your studies you will gain conceptual analysis skills, research capabilities, and the ability to communicate in either Chinese or Japanese.

As an East Asian Studies graduate, you'll be prepared for career opportunities in areas such as civil service, the non-profit sector, government positions and the business world.
