O que eu aprenderei?

The Master of Engineering degree is intended for individuals desiring an advanced degree with an emphasis on the practice of engineering. A minimum of 30 credit hours of coursework is required. The following conditions must be met: 1. A minimum of 18 credit hours must be taken at the 7000 level. The remaining credit hours must be taken at the 3000 level or above. 2. A minimum of 18 credit hours must be taken from any of the engineering departments, including a minimum of 15 credit hours from the Department of Biosystems Engineering. It is expected that you should be able to complete the Master of Engineering program in approximately 12 months. It is unlikely that students will receive a research stipend when enrolled in the Master of Engineering program.

The M.Eng. is a course-based degree consisting of 30 credit hours of coursework.

Para estudantes internacionais

For admission into the M.Sc. program, applicants are normally required to hold a four-year Bachelor’s degree in Biosystems Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university. Applicants to the M.Eng. program are normally required to hold a B.Sc.(Eng.) degree. Candidates with degrees in related areas will be accepted at the discretion of the department head.

English Language Requirements:

  • TOEFL - Achieve a minimum Internet-based -iBT (86; minimum score of 20 in each of reading, writing, listening and speaking categories)
  • IELTS - Achieve a minimum score of 6.5 in the Academic Module
  • PTE Academic - minimum 61 overall
