Launch your career in the entertainment industry by working hands-on with the latest industry technology and tackling real-world projects in our student-run production companies.
What You’ll Learn
In the Digital Film and TV Production, B.F.A., you’ll join a fully hands-on program that will jumpstart your journey to becoming a filmmaker. From the very beginning, you’ll learn to produce, direct, shoot, light, edit, record, and exhibit.
You’ll work with ProdCo, New York Tech’s student-run production company, where you can make films of all kinds, music videos, icommercial spots, and more. You’ll also work with outside clients or show your films via Globesville, our student-run web channel.
You’ll gain the real-world experience you need to stand out to employers (and make important industry connections) while interning in New York City’s film or television production companies, post-production houses, or advertising agencies.
