O que eu aprenderei?

The Master of Science (MSc) programme in International Wine Management is designed to develop industry leaders, educators, and researchers who have a strong awareness of the latest trends in wine business, and who will be in a position to lead the wine and hospitality industry into the future. Students will also learn about wine consumers in Asia as well as markets like Mainland China, gaining insight into some of the fastest growing, complex wine markets in the world. The programme is targeted to professionals in the wine and related industries who value the benefits of postgraduate education in international wine management.

Program structure:

All subjects are conducted solely in English. Full-time students are expected to take a minimum of three and a maximum of five subjects per semester, whereas part-time students need to take one or two subjects per semester (except summer term).

Período integral (STUDENTS CAN FINISH THE MSC IN 1 - 1.5 YEARS AND THE PGD IN 1 YEAR. THE MAXIMUM LENGTH OF STUDY FOR THE MSC PROGRAMME IS 6 YEARS, AND 4 YEARS FOR THE PGD PROGRAMME.)

Valores
The fee for the MSc programme is HK $198,400. An additional fee of HK $28,900 will be charged to students who opt to attend the residential study trip.

To be considered for this programme, applicants must meet one of the following requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in the areas of wine management, hotel and tourism management, recreation and leisure management, business studies, management, accounting and finance, or other business and management related areas with industry work experience of not less than one year; or
  • A bachelor's degree in an area other than those listed above, with current or past employment in wine or hotel and tourism industry for not less than one year; or
  • Equivalent professional qualifications may also be considered.

Applicants who are not native English speakers, or whose bachelor's or master's degrees were awarded by institutions where the medium of instruction is not English, must provide one of the following as proof of language proficiency:

  • A Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of at least 550 for the paper-based test, or 213 for the computer-based test, or 80 for the iBT-based test; or
  • A Band Score of at least 6.0 overall in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
