The Faculty's objective is to produce trained man power who are experts in the fields of language, literature and communication and able to contribute positively to fulfil the manpower needs and upgrade the quality of life in accordance with the development of the nation.


The program aims to provide candidates with theoretical and application knowledge in the field of Malay Literature. In this program, candidates are also exposed to the history, philosophy and current developments related to the field of Malay Literature. The target of this program is the relevant civil and private employees to make them experts in the field of Malay Literature.

Para estudantes internacionais

Applicants must have a Bachelor's Degree with at least CGPA 3.00 in the field of Malay Literature from a recognized university.

Applicants earning a CGPA of below 3.00 or equivalent, admission applications will be reviewed with at least 1 year working experience in the field of Malay Literature.

Applicants who do not possess any qualification in the field of Malay Literature but earn CGPA 3.20 can be considered conditional entry.

550 for the TOEFL Paper-based Test (Academic Version); or

Band 6.0 for IELTS (Academic Training); or

79-80 for TOEFL Internet-based Test (Academic Version); or

Level 109 for CIEP at ELS Language Centre
