In this track students will be able to build a strong foundation in the application of good manufacturing practices and gain relevant experience through industry attachments; be exposed to applications of analytical instrumentation and formulation techniques in pharmaceutical manufacturing; and learn different skills and strategies involved in sales and marketing of healthcare-related products. Learn how to use drugs to manage and improve patients’ health and wellbeing, gain critical knowledge in drug discovery and development, develop the skills needed to compound and dispense drugs safely and efficiently, prepare you for a rewarding career with potential employers from the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries, including hospitals, polyclinics, multinational corporations, and small and medium enterprises. Graduates are highly sought after in healthcare institutions, research laboratories and companies that develop and distribute pharmaceuticals. Some of the job roles students can look forward to include: clinic supervisor; clinical research coordinator; pharmacy technician; quality control technologist; research assistant; sales product executive and medical representative.

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum requirements: O-level holders must have English language with grades 1-7, mathematics (elementary/advanced) with grades 1-6, any one of the following subjects with grades 1-6: additional combined science, additional science, biology, chemistry, combined science, computer studies, creative 3-d animation, design and technology, engineering science, food and nutrition, fundamentals of electronics, general science, human and social biology, integrated science, physical science, physics, science (chemistry, biology), science (physics, biology), science (physics, chemistry), science (physics, chemistry, biology); aggregate type (ELR2B2-C); NITEC holders must have subjects with GPA greater than equal to 3.5; higher NITEC holders must have subjects with GPA greater than equal to 2.0. Applicants must satisfy the following minimum requirements: A-level holders must have the obtain an A-S grade for General Paper (English Medium), obtain an A-E grade for 3 other H2 subjects, and must have taken GCE 'A' Level examinations whilst studying in a Junior College / Millennia Institute in Singapore.
