O que eu aprenderei?

Why Applied Social Sciences (Level 6)?

Our Applied Social Sciences (Level 6) course is a flexible programme allowing you to build on your previous social sciences qualification, such as a Level 5 programme in a subject like community engagement, uniformed public services, counselling, sociology or psychology. You’ll refine your research skills and develop a strong understanding of evidence-based practice and service evaluation, by undertaking an applied research project. With a focus on applying what they’ve learned to real-world issues, along with the benefit of our strong links with professional organisations and employers in the public and voluntary sectors, our graduates stand out from the competition. You’ll be able to choose from a broad range of optional subject modules, including counselling, sociology, psychology, criminology and community development. In this way, you can tailor your studies to your own particular interests and career goals, ensuring that you develop the skills and knowledge needed to be successful after graduation.
