O que eu aprenderei?

This course is an introduction to Aviation Operations for full-time students who are looking to find out how operations at the airport work and learn some basic aircraft maintenance skills. The Certificate and Diploma in the Aviation Environment can lead to a range of roles including: Airport baggage handler; Passenger services; Airside operations and Landside operations.

To gain the C&G Level 3 Diploma in Aviation Operations, you will study a modules titled: Health and Safety in the Aviation Industry and Security in the Aviation Industry. In addition to this module, other topics which you may cover include Flight Operations; Plan the loading of aircraft and Principles of Flight. You will also be able to retake one GCSE in either Maths or English if you have not achieved a Grade C or above (4 or above).

The subject units are assessed in a variety of ways; some are assessed by assignments which may involve working in groups or independently and marked by your teachers using City and Guilds Criteria. Some assignments are assessed whilst undertaking practical activities. At the end, you will get C&G Level 3 Diploma in Aviation Operations (4955-04).

This course can lead onto the National Extended Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering or Foundation Diploma in Engineering. You could then move onto Higher Education Courses such as a BSc Aircraft Maintenance Engineering at the College or similar courses at other Universities.
