The MA Painting programme enables you to examine key issues in contemporary painting in how methods and materials shape an agenda in contemporary painting, whilst developing a critical relationship to its tradition.

The programme is centred around the development of your painting practice, and how it will encompass a range of diverse approaches to painting, encouraging you to experiment across different disciplines as your research develops and grows.

The programme encourages you to explore the notion of painting as research and developing key questions and ideas in order to engage with the wider research culture in painting.
