The Bachelor of Fine Arts with a major in theatre is a pre-professional program designed to prepare the student for entry into the theatre profession or for advanced study. Admission and screening procedures for the B.F.A. program normally take place during the spring of the sophomore year. Transfer students will be screened and admitted by the same process in their first semester.
Each student in the program is subject to an annual review procedure that is required to continue in the program. Jury critiques may be required for the following performance courses: THR 221, THR 223, THR 321, THR 420, THR 421, THR 424, THR 427, THR 428. Jury projects are conducted during the final two weeks of a semester for the purpose of assisting the student in her/his overall development of professional skills.

First-semester freshman applicants must:
Complete an accredited high school program.
You must score at least a 79 on the TOEFL, 6.5 on the IELTS, or 53 on the PTE.
