The University’s Mathematics program is designed to prepare the student for graduate work in applied mathematics and allied areas, careers in industry (actuarial and quantitative areas of biological and social sciences) and government employment. Depending on their professional aspirations and career plans, students can choose either a B.S. or B.A. degree.
Both degree programs in Mathematics require Computer Science 101 and 102. Students may take additional mathematics electives; those who intend to go to graduate school are advised to obtain competence in a foreign language and to elect one or more 400-level mathematics ?courses.

Applicants must have completion of secondary or high school certificate/diploma.
You must demonstrate English language proficiency in one of the ways listed below. If you cannot demonstrate English language competency in one of these ways prior to registration, you will be given the University English Language Assessment Battery (ELAB) test upon arrival. If you pass at a satisfactory level, you may be able to begin academic classes.
