The Recreation and Event Management (REM) program at Central Michigan University prepares you to work in both the for- and non-profit recreation and event management industries. Our students go on to work in places such as amusement or theme parks, community centers, festivals, non-profit organizations, university recreation and activities, sports and entertainment venues, military recreation, corporate and private special events, city and county parks and recreation, convention centers and faith based recreation.

Students are required to complete all secondary and post-secondary institutions.
They must demonstrate a proficiency in English by one of the following methods:
Students competing in intercollegiate athletics must submit a qualifying ACT or SAT score to meet NCAA eligibility requirements. Apply by May 15 if you are beginning classes in the fall semester. Apply by October 1 to begin classes in the spring semester.
