Wichita State’s Bachelor of Arts in Education (BAED)—science (Middle)—focuses on the natural sciences and effective teaching. Graduates are well prepared for careers as certified teachers in grades 5-8. The program combines classroom learning and real-world teaching experience in Kansas’ largest school district.
Curriculum
The science curriculum comprises 30 credit hours. The 39 credit hours of teaching curriculum are taken over four semesters and combines classes on campus and teaching internships in USD 259 schools.
