Beginning in Fall 2021, the Tisch Center for Global Sport will offer the newly revised MS in Sports Business, which integrates business theory with industry-specific analysis and insight that are immediately applicable in the sports professional’s working environment. This 36-credit, full- or part-time degree program consists of a sequence of core courses, electives in emerging areas of study, and a capstone in Sports Business.
Core Courses
The core curriculum is designed to provide you with a deep and broad foundation in the areas of sports law, leadership, finance and economics, as well as analytics, digital media and marketing, and the science of fandom.
Electives
Electives are courses that allow for individual investigation of specialized topics. They include a broad array of emerging subject areas such as “The Business of sports,” “Sport Public Relations and new Media Strategies,” and a “Seminar in Sports Leadership.”

Applicants are required to possess a US bachelor’s degree or the equivalent prior to the start of your intended term of entry.
TOEFL scores are required for applicants who did not complete an undergraduate degree in the United States or in a country where the only primary language is not English. Successful candidates achieve a minimum score of 100 on the Internet-based test.
For the IELTS, a minimum overall band score of at least 7 is recommended.
